I got my PFO letter in the mail from DOT where I had hoped on getting a full time position. So with that said, I can be free with my news and don't have to worry if old co-workers found out. I sent them an email with the news already.

For those that don't know my news - I'm PREGNANT! 15 weeks along! We started a new blog that will probably take this one over to pass along our journey through pregnancy and once the baby arrives.

I'm not sure how many people actually read my blog lately. Seems facebook has taken over! Nobody seems to be updating them as they would have before. I'm going to keep writting anyway.

We're heading to Saint John this weekend. Well actually leaving home around 12:30 today. We're spending the night with Graham and Lynaya (Wes' cousin) and tomorrow will hopefully be going to the big flea market in Sussex. We went last year and it was crazy! Hopefully we can find some good this year. It's calling for rain though, 80% chance! Oh well, maybe we'll try to brave it out anyway!

I'm been thinking a lot lately. About friendship. I know, I'm 28 years old and why I am going on about friendship. I've been questioning some lately and I hate doing that. Do I say screw it and not bother with it or do I try to dig and see what the root of it all is. My emotions have been running wild (most of you know why) so maybe this is just a part of it. But when certain instances happen you can't help but question. I'm not sure what I have done to deserve this, maybe I shouldn't know and just go on with things. Hard to say. If I leave it as is, go on my own way, will we ever be friends again or am I loosing out. Is it worth the effort? My thoughts right now is saying screw it and move on with my life. We've got some big things coming up that I'm so excited about. Who needs people that really aren't there for you. I really don't know. I don't know what I've done to deserve the treatment that's been had.

Oh well enough ranting. I don't think anyone reads this anymore, not that I really care anyway. Just wondering what kind of comments I may receive back. Maybe they will see that it truly does bother me. Maybe they won't. I'm hoping they do.

Hopefully in the next month I'll be able to babble on and on about our news.

What a weekend!

Wow, I have to say the reunion weekend was great! Got to meet up with tons of people that I haven't seen in ages! It was great to see everyone again! We arrived in Dalhousie Friday morning and did some running around. That night we went over to Mark and Stacey's for a pre-party before the night at Salt Water Lounge. There was quite a group of people there. It was awesome. We headed down to the lounge at around 10:30 and met up wtih more people. I think everyone had an awesome time! I'll attach a few pics below! Saturday we had the picnic and it also went great! I was a bit disappointed in the amount of people that showed up, but it wasn't too bad. Lots of babies and kids!!! I'm so glad everyone had a good time!

10 year Reunion Weekend!

Well it's finally here, our 10 year high school reunion is this weekend coming! I can't believe it's been 10 years already! Tanya flies in on Wednesday and we'll be heading down to pick her up. She'll be getting a list home with Gisele from here then we'll be heading up home on Friday. It's giong to be so nice to see everyone again! Hopefully it won't take me as long to post some pictures from the weekend! I've already cleared my memory card off and now only need to get some extra batteries and we'll be all set.

So seeing people after 10 years. Does everyone still look the same? Does everyone have a family now? Has anyone changed? I know I've changed, unfortunately put on some weight, but other than that, I think I'm still the same old person as before. Maybe now I stick up for myself a bit more, and don't let people walk all over me like some did. I never spoke up for myself back in high school, and I've gotten so much better since. I can finally say NO to someone without feeling too bad. That's taken a lot of work. But other than that, I'm the same old person. Married now and probably a whole hell of a lot more mature.

I think I'm more anxious for the picnic on Saturday. It'll be nice, fairly more quiet than a place with music blaring, might actually be able to speak with some people. I think we should have a great turnout as well. Hopefully the weather will cooperate, although there is shelter where we are having it. It would just make things easier with the kids is all.

Well I should be on my way. Hopefully I'll update again shortly!

Well I'm back, for the moment anyway..Things around here are going fairly well. Wes is looking into heading back to school. Surgery went ok, but he'll never be able to do the physical work he did before. So hopefully all will go well with getting into school. Other than that, we've been keeping ourselves quite busy. We went to Moncton this past weekend for the night. We had a pretty good time. Got to see Julie and her beautiful belly and got to see my sister and my cousin Jenni and her beautiful belly as well! All these babies all around us! Hopefully our turn is around the corner!

There isn't much new on our end. We've been trying to enjoy the summer. Unforutnately we're unable to make it to Jason and Ann's wedding this weekend. I hope they have a magical day. We'll be heading up home for our reunion, not sure if both of us will be there or just me. I'm quite anxious to see everyone again! god it's been so long for some people!

Well I should be on my way for now. I do have some pics to post, just have to get somewhere to load them. Hopefully that'll be soon!

I hate little updates

I hate sending little updates..I haven't been on top of this like I was!!!

Work is going good, very busy - that's why I haven't been updating much!

Tomorrow we head to F'ton for Wes' doc appointment. His shoulder is still grinding, so we're not very happy.. We'll survive, but it's not good news..

My weight loss journey has begun again. I took a break for a month - not real sure why, but since we moved into our new place, I had no drive what-so-ever. I think it was the month long work we did before that. I guess I wanted to enjoy a bit. My gym membership ran out at the beignning of May and I just got one this past week. So I weighed in on Monday to see the damage, I was sure I put on about 5 + lbs. Turns out, I had lost 1! So that means I'm up to 38 lbs lost. I'm hoping to get at least another 15 off by end of July. My goal was for 60 total, but to try to squeeze 22 lbs in less than 2 months is a little far fetched! So I'll be happy with like 50!

Sorry it's taken a bit to update. I started my new job two weeks ago at NBCC. It's going well, lots to learn! Wes has his shoulder surgery last week and all went well. He's still a bit sore, but hopefully that will go away soon. Wes' cousin Graham and Lynaya came up last weekend, I'll post some pics later. We had a great time! Lynaya and I went yard saling and I got a few good finds. Umm, other than that, things are quiet! Hopefully gonna get lots of R&R this weekend!! Try to get the damn air conditioner in too I think!

Here' s a bit of an update! Monday I found out I got a 6 month position with NBCC here in Miramichi! So my last day is today and I start on Tuesday!

Wes's surgery date is this Wednesday (only reason we found out was because Wes called the hospital this past Wednesday, they told him a letter was in the mail - imagine!!, not even a week away). Hopefully we'll be able to head down on Tuesday evening. He has to be at the hospital for 8:15 Wednesday morning. He should be in for at least 1 night.

Other than that, I think that's it. A long weekend this weekend. I'm done work here t 10:45am this morning then start my new job Tuesday! Hopefully the rain will hold out tomorrow morning and I can hit some Yard Sales! Got some great finds last week!

Just thought I'd write a note. I'm starting a new job with NBCC on Tuesday. Quite anxious!! It's only casual for at least 6 months, but my term is up here in a month. Other than that, things are going pretty good, nice and quiet. I have my appointment with the surgeon to see what's going on with my gallbladder in two weeks. The doc said he was sending me for a test too, but they haven't called for that yet. I'm thinking that test would give the surgeon more information, so we'll see. I think we may head to Moncton on Saturday for the day. We'll see once the time gets here. The weeks have been passing by way too slow these days. I may be heading to Fredericton tomorrow for work too. That'll be nice, get away for the day and I want to go to Old Cranberry Cottage in the mall if it's still there.

3 more lbs lost this morning and I lost 1 last week which equals 4lbs!! That brings the total up to 37lbs!! Whohooooo! Quite excited! Only 23 more lbs to my goal which I'm praying I will reach by the end of July!!!

Here they are, before and after pics!! We still have a bit of work to do..Our living room will be revamped in the next two months. I'm planning to recover my wing back chair and as well we are getting another couch, one that is bigger than our loveseat and in much better shape!!

I didn't post any pics of our bedroom as we're not completely finished decorating. I did, however, make some cornices for the windows! They turned out great!! I used the same material that I have on for my bedspread. I'll post that one below!

That's right, we're all moved in to our new little house! It was a bit stressful to get it all done, but finally by Saturday at suppertime, we were all moved in and rid of our old place. We got lots of work done Saturday night and Sunday to get things unpacked and settled. I would say we're about 80% done, still having to do the upstairs a bit more and put up some more pics. It's coming along well though. I wont' post any pics until we're completely done. We had some great help this weekend too, thanks to everyone!!

I had Monday off as well to get things done, but ended up at the emergency room! Not fun!! Woke up at 4am with really bad burning in my belly. I took a bunch of different things and nothing helped. Vomitted a few times and finally went to Emerg at 8. They hooked me up to an IV, took some blood and pee, gave me some good meds and I was feeling better in about 20 minutes. I left the hospital around noon. I'm feeling fine now. The doc has a suspiscion that it's my galbladder but isn't quite sure. I made an appointment with my family doc to get more tests done next week.

We had some company on Sunday. My mom, two sisters, cousin and niece were down for a visit to see the new house. I took a bunch of pics, but they are only of my niece! Horrible eh! Here they are. She's too friggen cute!!

Big moving weekend!

This is it, the big move weekend! We are so anxious to get into the house!! The only thing that's left to paint in the bathroom and we may hold off until next weekend. I'm quite sick of painting right now, more anxious to get things in and straightened out. The floores were laid yesterday and Tuesday. We unpacked some stuff last night. I'm off as of 2pm today until Tuesday morning so we should be able to get lots done. Our phone will be disconnected tomorrow and may take a while to get reconnected as the lines need to be fixed in the new place. So hopefully we'll be up again soon.

Yup, weighed in this morning, lost 4 more lbs so I'm up to 33 now! Yeeehhhaaawww!!

Other than that, house is coming along well! Only thing left now is the bathroom and fix up some trim! not too shabby! We moved a bunch of stuff in on Saturday then finish the rest up Saturday. Would love to be able to do it on Friday cause I have it off, but all depends on the help we can get. If there's anyone out there with a truck that would love to help out, let me know!! ;o)

I'll be sure to post some pics next week or the week after of the new pad!

Will the painting ever end?!?!

So we've been up to our ears in renovating our new house! Even bnetter it's not costing us a thing to do it! Our landlord is paying for all, but we're doing most of the work! No biggy, hey it's going to be like our own place. No more apartments!!! We're painting the whole inside of the house, I should say I am! So far I have the living room, downstairs bedroom, 1 spare room, hallway, stairwell and 2 closets done, as well as some doors. Last night I put a coat on the other spare room and the mud room. On the weekend they got the washer and dryer hooked up downstairs and moved a wall unit shelving thing to the basement and hooked it on the wall so I can use that for my detergents and all that fun stuff. Plus they totally removed this old old cupboard thing with the sink in the kitchen. It was hideous!! Sooo gross!! So they removed that totally and cut a hole in the other counter and installed a new sink and tap! Beautiful!! Most of the light fixtures have been installed except for two because I have to paint first. We're hoping to get most of the painting done by the end of the weekend (actually I want it all done). Saturday we'll be moving some stuff in and up to the spare rooms. The flooring people are coming on the 24th to install carpet in the living room and stairwell and cushion flooring in the kitchen, hall and mudroom. We'll be in the house for good Saturday the 28th. We're sooo excited!!I'll definately be taking some pics once it's all done and we're unpacked!

29lbs lost!!

Whohohoooooo! Weighed in this morning because I didn't make it to the gym this weekend. This house stuff is enough exercise and I'm pooped by the end of the day. So last time I lost was March 18th and I went two weeks after that and didn't loose. So this morning I went and lost 7lbs so I'm totalled at 29lbs! I'm right on track!

4 day weekend is over! Wow, we didn't stop the whole time though! We got down and dirty helping out fixing our new pad! Hopefully this weekend we'll be able to get a bunch of the painting done. This past weekend was filled with holep atching and lots of dust from the sander! Now this week will be some clean up. It's all going well though, can't wait to get moved in!

Got to visit with Carrie this weekend too, a friend from Bathurst. She recently started seeing a guy from here and has been down quite a bit so that's been real nice to have someone to hang with. Plus the guys get along great so it makes it even better for us all to hang!

We didn't make it up home on Sunday because of the storm. Can you imagine!! Easter weekend and not only 1 snow storm but two! It's nuts! Anyway, we're going to see about heading up this weekend, depending on how painting goes before Sunday.

As some of you may know, I'm stepping away from organizing the reunion. I posted it on Facebook and sent an email to a few people and only heard a couple of responses. Not that I'm looking for a response, but anyway. I got thinking a lot about all of this and decided to back away. Not only from some comments I've received from people but also because I have a lot on my plate too. Plus being away makes it hard to do all that. I wasn't chosen to do it or made myself leader, just took it upon myself to try to get things organized as I hadn't heard of anyone else doing that back when I started. I'm just hoping someone will take over. I can provide them with all the info that I have and they can decide what they want to do.

We're MOVING!

Yup, that's right! Found ourselves a little brick house to rent in Newcastle! 3 bedroom, 1.5 story house! Nice big deck in the backyard and everything! Added bonus, he's letting us pick the paint for it as well as the flooring! Can't go wrong with that!! Just so happens the guy we are renting from, Wes knows (went to school with him and his brother). He lives in Fort MacMurray and bought this house as an investment for him for later on when he comes back home. He just bought it and got the keys last week so he told us to go in, look things over and jot things down that we thought needed updating or fixed. He told us that we could pick the paint and that he was putting new cupboards in the kitchen, new flooring, new baseboards and a new dryer (washer is already there). There is a nice deck out back, the width of the house plus a yard!! Big move date is set for the last weekend in April. He also told us that if he had the work done before that, that we could get the keys and start moving stuff in then! Whohooo!!!

Here's a little update for ya's!

Things have been a little quiet lately, all is well though. Wes went to see the Doc yesterday about his shoulder and they will be doing another surgery within the next couple of months. Doc said it would be sometime this spring, so I'm thinking within the next two months. He's not real sure what the problem is, but that it's probably soft tissue related which they can't pick up on xray. So they will do the surgery Arthroscopically to see if they can find the problem. If they can fix it, they will. If not, they may have to go in again after that surgery (probably a couple of months down the road) and go in the back this time. We were hoping that after his last surgery it would be the last one. Because physio didn't work out the way we expected, there is yet another bump in the road. He's lucky though, that his doc is willing to keep exploring to see the problems. Some won't take the time, as in two docs he's already seen. Once again, we may need a couple of good thoughts sent to the big guy upstairs!

Other than that, we're hoping to look at a house to rent this weekend. We're quite stoked. It's a 3 bedroom 1.5 story brick house. We drove by a couple of times and will see it Friday or Saturday. If all is well and our big bed fits, we'll move for May 1!

Well here are a few pics that I've taken recently. Nothing major though!

First ones are of my new hair color! hahaha!! Yeah I'm weird I know. Honestly though, this is the first time that I had my hair professionally done! The pics don't do it justice and I'm sooooo not photogenic! My sister did an awesome job!! If your ever in Moncton and looking for a new do - look up Glow in the phone book and ask for Staci!

These next two are of the shower curtain that I made last week and my new antique 'box' I bought at Homesense! I thought it matched great with the bathroom and works as a little storage accessery

The next 3 are of one of Wes' diorama's that he has made. He's done 3 so far. This was the first one he did in a display case. Many of you may be thinking 'what is a diorama'. My explanation is that it's like a little scene miniature size. The car in this case, he put together (1/18th scale) and made everything else inside except the case it self. He made the bench, the little stands for the car, painting all the pieces, made the stool and all that fun stuff. It's quite a bit of work, but he does a good job at it. He's working on another one now and I'll try to post those pics when he's done.

Here's a little baby blanket that I made about a month back for a friend. It's already been given to her but I haven't been given the ok to announce the pregnancy. So I'll leave it at that until I can!

3 day weekend....

3 day weekend and it's over already! God time sure flies by!

Birthday went great! Spoiled as usual! I got an MP3 player, little clay angel with my birthstone, beautiful silver necklace with pink stone and earrings to match, Lean Mean Fat Grilling Machine, and an Exercise Ball with the DVD. Plus I did some shopping in Moncton! I was planning on having some real bad food Thursday for supper for my birthday (chinese) but when it came down to it, I couldn't do it because I was scared I would get crampy and stuff because I haven't eatten that in quite a while, so I settled for a McDonald's Chicken Salad instead! Wes' mom, sister and nephew came over later that evening and we had strawberry shortcakes! Yummy!!

Friday we left for Moncton around 8:30, dropped Wes off at Champlain and I went and got my hair done by my sister. I love it! It's a darker brown with 2 diff colors highlights. I took some pics and will post soon! She did an awesome job! After that I went to the mall to meet Wes and we strolled around a bit then went to a hobby shop he wanted to go to, then Michaels and Homesense! God I love those places! I bought a few things then we headed home before the storm!

Saturday we were storm stuck so I enjoyed the day relaxing!

Sunday I went to the gym - GUESS WHAT?!?!?!?!? I lost another 4 lbs and am up to 22 lbs lost! Whohooooooo!! I love it! 22lbs in 10 weeks!!!

So all in all we had a great weekend!

Another weekend over...

Yet another weekend is over! They seem to fly by so fast! It was a beautiful weekend, weather wise though! Sunday we decided to go outside and chop at some thick ice in the driveway to start clearing it up. Great idea at the time, but I'm paying for it now. My lower back is killing me and I'm having a hard time to sit here at work, never mind walking around. I'm thinking it either had to do with the ice (most likely) or I slept in a really bad position. Not sure which one!

Speaking of sleeping, what a hard time I had to sleep last night. With this time change and all! Usually I'm ready for bed around 9:30. Well we went in around 10 and I could not close my eyes! I got back up and stayed up until 11:50! In reality to me it was 10:50. Needless to say I'm a wee bit tired today!

So I weighed in on Saturday. Lost 1 lbs. This brings my total to 18. When I think about 18 lbs I think - 1. I should be around 22 right now'ish then think 2. 18 lbs is quite a bit. I lifted a bag of potatoes yesterday that was 7 lbs and that was heavy enough, add another bag plus a half of one, and wowsers 18lbs is quite a bit! It's still hard to wrap my head around it. I was hoping for at least 3-5 lbs this week where it had been 3 weeks since I last weighed in. My eating habits may have swayed some so this week I'm getting a bit more strict with myself and am going to try to avoid my beloved bagels. Subsitute for Weight Watcher bread, which is about 110 calories less. Probably not as filling, but may get my craving. Plus I need to eat more fruits and veggies during the day instead of the ligtht 90 calorie snacks I've been eating. You think 90 calories - not bad. But if you eat 3 of them that's 270 calories! So my goal this week is to eat more fruit and veggies and less bagels!

Big birthday week! Nothing major planned except a trip to Moncton on Friday. Thursday will be birthday celebration (no cake - but strawberry shortcake!) and maybe a few presents! That's about it! It should be nice, I always look forward to getting older!?!? ;o)

The weekend is over and work has begun again! Oh well, at least it's Tuesday and there are only 3 more days of work besides today!

Our weekend was great! We took a spur of the moment trip to Moncton and got to see Julie and Gerry and Staci for a bit. We also took a trip to Champlain Mall, HomeSense and Michaels! I picked up a few little things. It was a great trip and nice to get away!

My weigh in didn't go as planned (unforseen bowel issues), but I will be jumping on this weekend. It seems to be down again, so we'll see. I'm hoping it is!!

Other than that, things are quiet. I'm finally done knitting all the squares for my little afghan/blanket type thing I'm making. It took long enough!! Hopefully I'll get up home or Mom will get down to see me so she can teach me how to crochet it all together. I attempted to sew the squares together, but it didn't look good. So I'll wait until I get some help to finish it off! I'll post a pic of it once it's completed.

My 28th birthday is next week! Wow, can't believe I'll be 28 already! Time sure flies! No real big plans I don't think. I'm taking Friday the 16th off and we're heading to Moncton again. Staci is going to do my hair - trim, color and highlight. Quite anxious for that, I need a little change!

Salut...I'm sitting here at work, debating what to do this weekend. Yeah, you can tell I'm busy at work! hahaha! I know a few trips to the gym will be involved and a weigh in. I'm hoping for another 3 lbs lost. Fingers crossed! Other than that, not real sure. Tonight we're going to watch Carter swim I think. Tomorrow night I will probably do some groceries. I know that I do need to knit a bit more to finally be done this blanket I've been working on and maybe start my other one. Except the other one will not be knit, it'll be sewn. Other than that, I'm not real sure.

Today is 2 weeks from my 28th birthday. Imagine, already 28! Time sure seems to fly by that's for sure. I can remember turning 16 and 18 when life was just starting and you wanted to be older. Now I'm thinking that 10 years flew by way too fast, will the next 10 years fly by just as fast?!? Turning 28 also makes me think a bit about what I've accomplished. I think I've done pretty darn good so far, although after I got married I thought I would have had a child by now. Dear old Mother Nature is sure taking her time with that. All in all, I think I've done pretty good. Yeah there are probably a few other things I would have liked to have done, but I still have lots of time for that. There are also things that I never thought I would have done that I did do in the past 10 years. Like getting married for an example. As many of you will vouch, I never thought the day would come, or shall I say wanted it to come. I guess deep down inside, I wanted it, but never thought it would happen. Of course, until my knight in shining armour came along and swung me off my feet!

Life can change so instantly, when you least expect. I am definately an example of that. And always remember, life is too precious to let it pass by. Live every moment as though it were your last.

One last thing, to all those of you that do read this, remember that you all mean so much to me and I appreciate your friendship even though I may not be in contact as often as I should be. As I wrote on Myah's blog earlier, we all lead different lives now and we don't always have much time as we would like to to keep in contact. Please know that I always think of you.

Weekend....

What a beautiful weekend! Weather was not too bad, at least the sun was shining. Managed to salt enough of the driveway that it pretty much all melted so we won't have to worry about slipping as we make our way to our car! Got lots of laundry done and some well deserved cleaning as well! No weight loss this week but as I've been going, it seems like every second week so hopefully Saturday will be a couple more to add to the pile. At the end of this weekend it'll be 2 months and I would love to loose 3 more to make it 20lbs.

Other than that, things are quiet. My friend Carrie is suppose to be buying a house and doing the closing this weekend so I may head up there, depending on what goes on. Other than that, quiet quiet!

Yup, that's right, 5 more pounds lost so I'm up to 17 pounds lost since January 4th! Not to shabby I must say, I'm working hard for it though! 30 mins on the eliptical, using the ab machinea nd this other machine that's kind of like a side crunch in a way, leg abductions and some weights for my jiggly arms about 4-5 times a week! Not to bad! Oh yeah, and no sweet stuff or processed food! Gotta love it! But it's working so I'm stickin with it!

Well it's Friday, what a week!! It's been fairly busy, and I've been really tired! I can't seem to get a good nights sleep. I thought that by working out it would tire me out some. Guess not! Gym has been going pretty good. All i'm really doing at the moment is 30 mins on the Eliptical, some abs, the love handle machine (is what I call it), leg abductions and bit of weights for my arms. I didn't loose any last week but I think I will this week. My scale at home is down some so that's good! I think I should only weigh every two weeks instead of every week. Seems that one week I don't loose then the next I do! But it all seems to be doing the trick! My close are quite loose on me now and some pants that I've chosen not to wear (too tight) in the past year are fitting again! Whoohoo!! I'm feeling great and loving the results! I can't wait to get smaller so I can go shopping! Finally be able to get some clothes that I really want to wear instead of what I can only wear!

Plans for the weekend - hmmm...CLEAN! Hopefully Wes will get done is diorama (I will post some pics of it, he's done a LOT of work on it. Pics probably won't justify) I can do a good cleaning. I think tomorrow we're going to an auction - 2 estate sales. Should be fun. Oh yeah, and of course, gym today, tomorrow and Sunday!! Sunday is the Daytona 500 so we'll be tuned into that. Think we may make a nice roast supper! yummy!

Wow, the weekend sure past by quick! It was a pretty low key weekend, which was a nice change since we've been quite busy the past month on the weekends. Friday after work I went to the gym, came home, ate supper then helped Wes with his diorama. He's been working on it for a bit now. Its' pretty neat, I'll definately post pics once it's completely, which should be in the next few days. Saturday I went to the gym first thing in the morning then went into the sauna for 30 minutes! Wowsers what hot!! 150 degree heat! I sweat though, let me tell ya! That afternoon I knit and started to put my little afghan together. Sunday went to the gym again and came home and cleaned up a bit, helped Wes again with his diorama, did laundry and took a spin to Walmart. That was about it! Fairly quiet, but nice and relaxing!

I didn't loose any weight this past week, but my spirits are still high! We'll see what happens this coming week! I've upted my time to 30 minutes on the eliptical as of the middle of last week so maybe the results will come this week!

I've been still eating fairly well but I think I'm eating too much carbs. Any ideas on high protein things I can eat instead of toast or bagel in the am, potatoes/rice/pasta for supper?!?! Since I've been on this I've never eaten so many potatoes - about 3 times a week! But god they are good!

Anyway, any suggestions, tips, hints would be great!

Well I'm up to 12 lbs lost in a month! Whoohooo! I weighed in on Sunday for the week and lost 4 more! So week 1 lost 5lbs, week 2 lost 3lbs, week 3 lost 0 lbs, week 4 lost 4 lbs! As well, measured myself for fun on Sunday and I lost 2.5 inches on my thighs, 1 inch off my calf, 2 on my waist, .5 off my hips, .5 off my neck. Imagine, that's really only after 3 weeks! I'm stoked!!

So it's Tuesday today. Had the day off yesterday. Wes and I went to Fredericton on Sunday afternoon and spent the night with Mary and Greg. It was nice to have a visit with them. Monday morning we went to visit with Leah and Quinn! What an adorable little girl! She is precious! Leah looks great!

Tuesday afternoon I went to visit with the girls I used to work with when Wes went to see the Doc. Doc sent him for blood work and next week he's to go back to get some xrays done and see him again. Hopefully he can figure what's wrong with his shoulder again. Starting to grind and dislocate again. Lovely....

Anyway, that's it on my end!

That weekend went by way too fast!!

Had a great weekend though, Pam, Katrina, Mike and Mike's teamate Matt were down for the weekend. They played in a tournament here and lost in the finals. Great tourny though! Mike hurt himself in the last period of the final game, dislocated his knee and they put it back in place. God that must have hurt! I think they had a pretty good time at our place too. We watched Miracle, they played playstation, watched hockey, all that fun stuff.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention - lost another 3lbs! So far down to 8lbs lost in 14 days! Not too shabby eh! I measured myself last night for the first time so will do that again in a couple of weeks to see if there is any difference. I'm thinking there will be. I kick myself now for not measuring before I started because I'm sure I've lost some since. Things just seem to be a bit looser than usual. And I highly doubt 8lbs on me would do that.

Anyway, that's it for now. This weekend we head to Fredericton on Sunday for the night as Wes has a doctors appointment on Monday. We'll be staying with Mary and will hopefully get a chance to visit with Leah, Gordie and Edie and maybe Kenny. Plus I want to stop into my old office to see the gals.

Wow, did the weekend ever pass by past!

Friday night went to the gym after work, came home, cleaned up a bit and did laundry. Saturday morning hit the gym and found that I lost 5 LBS this week! Whooohoo! Well on my way! I still have lots to go, but it's a start right! I don't think I have ever seen the scale go down, just gradual up over the years! Makes me feel good!! After the gym, came home took a shower and we drove up home. Visited with mom and had lunch, then went to Wendy's, then to Joy's, then back to Wendy's for supper. My niece has to be the cutest ever! She is adorable! I gave her a bath and she just loves the water. Lay her back and she kicks and splashes like you wouldn't believe!! After supper we headed down to Shelley's for a visit. We had a great time there, her girls are beautiful! Sunday morning woke up and headed to JR to visit with Amy Lou and baby Hudson! What a beautiful baby! He's so content! Thanks Myrnie for the great lunch - Lobster and Meatpie!! Yummy!! Oh yeah, Jenn, Mike and Aiden were there too. Aiden's walking! That's soo great! Once we left there, we headed to Bathurst to visit with Carrie and her mom for a little bit! It was great to see them too. I think we're going to go up on the 2nd and spend the night there with Carrie. Should be fun!

I took loads of pics but don't have them loaded on the comp yet. I'll try to load them sometime today or tomorrow and post a bunch!

Oh and a quick CONGRATULATIONS to Corey and Leah on their new baby girl, Quinn Charlotte Murphy born on January 12th! Can't wait to see her on the 29th!

Gym, dieting, yippee...

So I started the gym on the weekend. I went Saturday and Sunday mornings. I did fairly well for my first time there in YEARS! Started a diet as well. It's not too bad, but I think I was going through sugar withdrawals on the weekend. Major headaches all weekend long. I'm better today though. Fingers crossed I can keep this going and get the pounds off! Big reunion this summer and I want to look good!!

Other than that, things are fairly quiet. We're heading up home this weekend to visit with my family and to see Amy and meet little Hudson on Sunday!! I'm so excited to see him. I think we'll be stopping in at Carrie's on the way home as well in Bathurst for a quick visit.

Gotta run for now. Will write more later this week!

1 year today my Nanny passed away at 1:30pm. I still don't understand it all. I mean my Nanny was suppose to live forever, to outlast me. Nanny and I used to talk every Sunday night ever since I moved away. It was a date. I could talk to Nanny about anything and everything, things I didn't talk to my sisters, my mother or my friends about. It was just so easy to talk to Nanny. I still go to pick up the phone some Sundays then realize that she's not there anymore. It never fails, every Sunday I think of her. I haven't fully dealt with her death yet, I still can't watch our wedding video as Nanny is on it. I've just begun to be able to look at our wedding pictures again. But I still cry. A couple of weeks after our wedding, Nanny went into the hospital and was only out for a week before she went back in again at Christmas. Funny, I made her scrapbook of our wedding pictures for a Christmas gift. I wasn't able to make it home and kept after mom to bring the gift to the hospital so that Nanny could see it. This was before she had gotten very ill and we had no thoughts of her passing. There was just something itching at me that Nanny had to see this scrapbook and soon. Jenni showed it to her Christmas Day and Nanny got very ill Boxing Day. So she did get to see it before she passed. I thank god for that. I wish so much that she could still be around, there are so many things I would like to tell her.

Wow, what a Christmas!

Wow, we had a wonderful christmas! I was off on Thursday afternoon so that's when the crazyness began! I finished up my shopping and did my groceries that night. Friday Wes did his shopping and I baked some banana bread and went to the market. Saturday Mom, Wendy and Kadence came for a quick visit. It was really nice to see them. Kadence is sooo sweet! I took a few pics but didn't bring my camera here with me. We made cherry bread that evening. Sunday we cleaned up and Kathy, Brenda, Carter and Keith came over for supper. We ordered chinese and I made a cheesecake for dessert. Later on that evening we went up to Kathy and Brenda's for some snacks. We came home, watched a bit of a Christmas movie, put out our gifts and went to bed. We woke up at 7:00 christmas morning and started opening the gifts! Later that day we went to Kathy and Brenda's again for supper! Yummy!

Some gifts that I received are: New comforter set, microwave, cd player for our car, a whole bunch of rudolf stuff (6 ornaments, 2 snowglobes, stocking, 3 of the characters that speak and sing!), hand held tetris game, wallet, Victoria Secret body lotion-spray-body wash, Rascall Flatts CD, tupperwear, gift certificate to Peningtons, Dale Jr hat, ummmm, OC season 3, turkey platter, 2 foot files, popcorn maker! Wow, the list keeps going on and on! The comforter set and Microwave were combined gifts for Wes and myself.

So needless to say, we had a great Christmas!! Now I'm back to work! But I only have 3 days to work then a 3 day weekend, so not too bad. We had planned to head up North yesterday but we got too much snow and didn't want to risk. So we may head up this weekend.

Wowsers, only 6 more days and it's Christmas. Or another way to think of it is exactly one week from today, we'll be opening gifts! Imagine!!!

So it could be a busy week!! Well actually not really, until payday anyway! Payday is Thursday. I took Friday off to get some extra stuff done. I'm going to head out to the grocery store bright and early that morning to get our christmas order. I may even have to wait in line I'll be that early! Then i have to run around to a few other places and pick up the last gift for Wendy and James, last thing for Wes' mom and a few things for Wes. Mom, Wendy and Kandence may be down on Saturday for a couple of hours for a quick visit. That'll be nice. They have never been to my place around Christmas time. I think Wes and I will make some Cherry Bread and some sweets that afternoon or no Christmas eve day. I LOVE CHRISTMAS!

Well Sunday night we took a drive to St. Margarets to the Christmas House! Wow, he has over 3 acres of land and it's covered in pathways and lots of lights. He even has a replica of a church that I am taller than! It probably goes to around my waist area or so. He has a bon fire every night for people to stand near and get warm. He also has a little barn type thing with a ceremic village in it. It's beautiful! There is a pond with ducks in it - he said they stay there all winter long. He made a little heated hut for them but they won't go in it! They sleep on the ice!

Anyway, here are a few pics. Of course the ones that was taken of the yard didn't really turn out because it was dark. As well, my batteries died on me!

Well, isn't time just flying by! Not much longer now and Christmas will be here and gone! We're heading to Moncton tomorrow after work for a little shopping. I took Friday off so we'll be hitting the mall that day. Hopefully we'll get the rest of our shopping done!

Last night we took a drive around and looked at Christmas lights. There are quite a few that are decorated so far. I guess every year there is this place in St. Margarets that decorate like crazy and have this little village type thing set up. I haven't heard yet or not if it's been set up thus far, but we'll definately be taking a spin out there sometime to see it.

Well it's been a while since I posted. Not all that much has gone on. We're well under way for christmas. Everything is decorated and most gifts have been purchased. I wrapped everything that has to be wrapped to date. Last night we drank hot coco and watched Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer and Charlie Brown's Christmas. It was great!!

With our reunion approaching next summer, I've had the chance to catch up with a few people who I haven't seen or really talked to since high school. One in particular, Carrie McBain. We've been emailing the past few weeks quite regularly. It's great to catch up with her. Junior high we were inseperable and has some rough times through high school but it's nice to put that aside now that we're older. She's married and has a beautiful daughter named Isabella. They live in Ottawa where she is a RCMP. She will be travelling to Dalhousie this weekend with her daughter for a week visit. She may also take a trip here to Miramichi for a visit. It'll be nice to see her again after all this time.

Funny how things change over the years. It's great to put aside things that happened years ago and catch up again. Back then it may have seemed to be something huge, but now as time goes on, it's quite trivial. I guess I've grown up quite a bit and realize that life is too short and some people that you were quite close to years ago, should be back in your life. Mind you as I've grown, I also realize that you can't waste time with people who play you either. I guess I don't have time, or want to, for things that happen as if we were back in high school when we are clearly so much older and wiser. I guess you really realize who your friends really are. I guess I only want to be happy, and want people that are that way too in my life!

Well Halloween was great! Mind you we didn't get many trick or treaters - we had a good time with Carter! He loved every minute of it. I dressed up as kind of his capture as he was Batman. Tied myself up and made a little handle so he could pull me around. Well we walked out the door and he didn't want any of that! So Brenda (the witch in the picture, his mom) pulled me around! We only went to about 10 houses, he was good with that though! Here are a few pics!

Weekend is over!

Weekend is over. Rain rain rain, that's all it seemed to do! Yesterday I think there was a bit of hail. Snow shall be on the way shortly!!

It was a pretty productive weekend! Scrubbed the floors, painted the bathroom, laundry and cleaned the bathroom. Plus made some squares, tacos for supper Saturday and a nice big stew on Sunday. It was pretty good!

Update on Wes - he is doing great. Still has some pain, which is natural considering he had the surgery just under 2 weeks ago. Staples were taken out on Thursday and he feels much better since that. You would be quite concious.

Other than that, things are fairly quiet. I think tomorrow I'm going trick or treating with Carter. I'll have to find something to wear tonight! Thursday is Carters 6th Birthday. His party will be on Friday. So that will keep us quite busy!

Should be on my way. Will write more in the next few days!

I am so PROUD of my hubby! He is having an amazing recovery from his surgery. He's not pushing anything, only doing what the physiotherapist at the hospital advised. To date, 1 week after surgery, he feels great. Here are some pictures to prove it. I am speechless and have no idea what to say when I try to comprehend how well he is doing. I've been through 2 previous surgeries with him and he hadn't come as far as he is now after one and a half months. He says the agonizing pain he had before is gone, this pain is different and is tolerable. All he is taking is Extra Strength Tylenol for the pain. Again, I'm so PROUD of him! I love you honey bunny!

He is only doing this to show that he can do it. He will not be playing for at least a couple of weeks now -
I've warned him already!

He couldn't do this in his previous surgeries almost 2 months after he had them!

Tomorrow he gets his staples out. Wes said that he'll feel much better then as he's a little nervous they may get caught on clothing and stuff. I love him soooo much!!

Not for those of the weak at heart!

Nice bruising eh! They say gravity takes the bruising down the arm - there is nothing above his incision!

Here is the brusing and incision. We took the band-aid off because it was falling off. They told us we couldn't wash the incision, so I washed around it to take some of the brideen off. He's got 21 staples. It really looks worse than it is.

All is all Wes is doing great. He's still in quite a bit of pain, but is not taking morphine for it. He's only take Extra Strength Tylenol! He is very determined this time around and is doing his exercises regularly. He can already raise his arm to a 90 degree angle! I'm so proud of him!!

We arrived back home yesterday around 2:00 pm. Wes is feeling much better and is trying to stay away from the morphine. It makes him too sick. He had one pill yesterday to get through the drive home and that was his last. He's bruising quite a bit, I may post some pics! hahaha..I know, pretty gross, but I may anyway! Dr. Burton showed us the x-ray they took right after the surgery. It's pretty neat and compared next to the the one from July.

Surgery was this morning, all went well. Wes is recovering at the hospital and will probably be there until Thursday or Friday. Dr. Burton said it went great and there were no problems. Wes is a bit nausiated but hopefully should feel a lot better tomorrow!

Well this will be my last post until somewhere around the 23rd of October..Holy Crap, October 23rd already! Man time flies by!

I guess we're pretty much set to head to Fredericton on Sunday. Tonight we are moving our old 65 Comet to his mom's place for the winter. Hopefully the darn thing will start for us! We moved it from her place to ours in May, worked great but may have killed his mom's battery. Hopefully it won't do that to ours tonight. We really don't want to pay 100$ for a new battery, especially just before leaving for Fredericton - a week that will be expensive enough.

I started packing a bit last night, just the little things. I have to do another load of laundry tomorrow and then we should be good to go.

So wish us luck on Tuesday and say a little prayer that all goes well for the 17th. Any words of encouragement would be great! This surgery is going to be quite nerve wrenching! Either they can do it and it works or it doesn't work and he will only have very limited movement for the rest of his life. So like I said, say a little prayer to the big guy upstairs for us!

So this weekend I'm going to wash all the bedding, scrubb the kitchen floor, clean up the spare room a bit..so not too much on tap. Oh add in the regular weekly cleaning stuff.

We're going to Brenda's on Sunday for turkey dinner and to watch the race. It should be a great weekend! Then only 4 days to work then off for another week!

Well the weekend is over. It was pretty good, went by too fast of course. Got a few things checked off my to do list. We'll work on a few more this weekend. I cooked this weekend quite a bit. Made some squares on Saturday then Sunday made my Apple Bumble Crumble Pie and a big turkey dinner. It didn't end there! Once supper was done I made a turkey and rice soup. Although it didn't turn out very well! I tried! I guess I probably need a recipe!!

Saturday night we went to the old house and took a walk in the woods. It was beautiful. I think we are going to do the same thing this weekend. Go earlier this time so we can walk down to the water.

Got some bad news as well. Friday Wendy called and said that Jessie's mom was diagnosed with Cancer (Lungs and bones) and the doctor was giving her 6 months to live. Well Sunday we got another call and Wendy said that she had gone down hill and was given 24-48 hours to live. Monday morning she passed away at 9:00 am. Quite scary, considering she only knew she had cancer for 5 days. Our prayers are with Jessie and Joel and their whole family.

A father passing by his son's bedroom was astonished to see the bed nicely & made up and everything neat and tidy.Then he saw an envelope propped up prominently on the pillow. It was addressed, Dad.With the worst premonition, he opened the envelope and read the letter with trembling hands Dear Dad, It is with great regret and sorrow that I'm writing you. I had to elope with my new girlfriend because I wanted to avoid a scene with you & Mom.

I've been finding real passion with Joan and she is so nice. I knew you would not approve of her because of all her piercing, tattoos, her tight motorcycle clothes and because she is so much older than I am but it's not only the passion, Dad, she's pregnant. Joan says that we are going to be very happy. She owns a trailer inthe woods and has a stack of firewood, enough for the whole winter. We share a dream of having many more children.

Joan has opened my eyes to the fact that marijuana doesn't really hurt anyone. We'll be growing it and trading it with the other people in the community for all the cocaine and ecstasy we want.In the meantime, we'll pray that science will find a cure for AIDS so Joan can get better; she sure deserves it! Don't worry Dad, I'm 15 years old now and I know how to take care of myself. Someday, I'm sure we'll be back to visit so you can get to know your grandchildren.

Well it's Friday - thank god! hahahah!!

Now, what do we do this weekend! Hmmm....Well I started a list of things that we need to get done by the weekend before the surgery.

TO DO:

- Throw out old tomato plants - clean pots
- Take in trellis
- Wash bedding in both rooms
- Move old Car for winter
- Put away BBQ
- Scrubb floors real good (he's better at it than me!)
- Arrange spare room for Wes (I think he'll be in there for a while once we get home from surgery. Easier for him to get out of bed, plus would be hard for both of us to sleep in the same bed when he needs space for pillows and stuff).
- Put up Christmas Tree! Don't jump too soon here! We're just putting the artificial tree up in the spare room in the corner because Wes is better at donig it than me. He won't be able to do it too soon after the surgery.)
- Take air conditioner out of window, clean and store for winter.
- Get Winter clothes out, wash, and put summer clothes away.
- Paint bathroom
- Clean out spare room closet

So as you can see, there is lots to be done. I want to get all of this done by October 14, because we leave for Fredericton on the 15th. That way when we get back, we don't have to worry about any of it.

My hopeful plans for this weekend would be get winter clothes out, wash and put summer away, take out air conditioner, clean out tomato pots, take in trellis and maybe clean out closet.

I'll update you on Monday how much we actually get done!

Take a good look at this pancake. Do you see a face in it? One day about 2 months ago, Wes made some pancakes for supper. Hopefully you can see the face in it, it's like a dog, cartoon dog. You can see the eyes quite easily, right towards the top of the pancake and perfect circles. Then you see the big snout and the circle of dark stuff in the middle. It looks like a cartoon dog, I swear!

A wonderful 1st Anniversary!

Yesterday was our 1st wedding anniversary! We had a wonderful weekend. Kind of kept things on the low-down. Friday night spent the just me and him. Saturday we hopped in the car and took a drive down towards Tracadie. Just before Tracadie we stopped at the beach for a bit. It was quite cold but it was beautiful down there. We walked on the beach and found some beautiful seashells and rocks. I'll have to post a few pics in the next few days from it. We got a little wet from the water as well - trying to clean the shells we found, the waves were very unpredictable! We had a great laugh though! Saturday evening we had a nice supper then went to Brenda's. They bought us a chocolate fudge cake for Sunday. Yummy! Sunday slept in a bit, exchanged gifts, had lots of coffee and reminissed about our wedding day. Then we kind of wrote a little song of the weekends events. It's kind of cute! We had a great supper - pot roast, sliced potatoes, brocolie, green beans, beats. That evening we had a glass of wine and danced to our wedding song - One Friend by Dan Seals. It was a beautiful evening!

Dog The Bounty Hunter

Anyone out there follow Dog the Bounty Hunter? We'll he's in quite deep right now, was arrested by the US Marshall's last week. Not sure if you have read about it or not. There was a special last night on A & E about it called Dog the Bounty Hunter - Family Speaks. This all happened last Thursday - Dog, Leland and Tim spent the night in federal prison. To make a story short, they hunted for Andrew Luster (Heir of Max Factor Cosmetics) in 2003 and caught him in Mexico. Andrew Luster had skipped court and was charged with 87 counts of serial rape. Dog, Tim and Leland found him in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico in 2003. Turns out that Mexico does not allow Bounty Hunting and they were arrested in put in prison for a week. Luster was sent to the US and was give 124 years in prison. Last Thursday the US Marshalls surrounded Dog, Tim and Leland's houses and arrested them. Turns out Mexican Police want them extradited to Mexico to serve a prison sentence! Imagine! If anything, they helped take an American's Most Wanted Top 10 case to prison. It's not fair and not right. If you get a chance, check out A&E for that episode, it explains it better!

Well today is our provincial election. I'm heading off to vote shortly. But how do I vote? I guess I may be a bit ignorant about politics, it doesn't interest me, although it probably should. Considering my vote may make a difference, or will it? Shall I vote for PC - keep it the way it's been going? Or do I go Liberal and try to get the young blood in?

Almost anniversary time!

Well it's almost our 1st year anniversary. Next week on the 24th we will have been married for 1 year! We're not really sure what we are going to do..We're thinking of taking a nice drive down the river, then come home and make a nice supper, and have a nice romantic evening to ourselves. I plan on picking up a bottle of wine and digging out our wedding song so we can dance to it again. I'd like to make that a tradition on our anniversary - dance to our wedding song. I haven't heard it since our wedding day.

Funny, the year seemed to pass by fast, yet at the same time, seemed like forever to get here. It seems like we've been married for years, maybe because we moved in together so quickly! hahaha..It's all good though, I wouldn't change this for the world!

Wedding Table!

This past weekend's project was the table that we had everyone sign at the wedding. We finished engraving the names and did the center piece. We then sanded it down and stained it. I stained the top twice then put a semi-gloss clear coat on the whole table. It was hard to take a good pic of the whole table, so here are a few pics of the top of the table! Finally - October 17 will be Wes' surgery date! I have that week off so we'll be heading to Fredericton sometime that Monday. Then surgery on Tuesday. Going to be a pretty crazy few days. He'll be in the hospital for 3-4 days, depending how things go. Please pray for NO INFECTION! That is our biggest fear and could the most damage. He'll be receiving a high dose of antibiotics while in the hospital to help prevent this.

Amy and Landon's baby shower went great! Lots of people, lots of food, good times - Myrnie you out did yourself again! Amy looks great and is feeling great! I went down to visit early that day, so that was great. Next time I see Amy Lou, she'll be a mommy!!

I went up home on Sunday and came back on Monday! It was a nice little visit, fast though! I did my nieces room over, cleaned it out and organized everything for my sister. Here are the pics of her room and a few of her. I wish I would have taken more, I spent lots of time with her, but just never thought! She is the most adorable child ever!!! She is always smiling, no matter what. Here they are:

PS: I made the Canopy for her crib! I sewed little purple, yellow and pink rosebuds all over plus a few butterflies! Looks adorable! If I were to do it over again, I would have gotten more tulle to make it fuller!

Sorry it's been a bit..I finally got the pics loaded on here from the flea market. They aren't the best but at least it may give you a bit of an idea! As well I posted a pic of Julie and Gerry!

This past weekend we had a little yard sale on Saturday morning. It was a nice morning out, a little chilly though at 7:30am! But it was good, we sold about half of our stuff and made a little cash. So that wasn't too bad.

Got to visit with Pam, Staci and Jenni for a while too. Mike and Pam were down for a baseball tournament. Staci and Jenni are heading on a bus tour to New York over Thanksgiving! Lucky ducks!

This weekend I'm heading up home. Well on Sunday anyway and coming back on Monday. It's Amy Lou's baby shower on Monday! I can't wait to see her! As well, I can't wait to see my cute little niece Kadence! I think I'm going to make one of those little canopy things for her crib and get some little butterflies from the $$store to put on it. It'll look so cute! I may even be ambitious and get some pink material and make her some curtains too. I can't wait to see her!! She is adorable! Wendy will put the phone to her ear and I'll talk to her and she smiles! Too sweet! I can't believe that she will be 8 months old on Friday! It's nuts!

Well I should be on my way, get some work done. Will definately be posting some pics on Tuesday of Kadence and Amy's baby shower!

Wow, if there is anyone out there that loves flea markets, well you have to go to the one in Sussex next year! Wowsers!! It's huge! We walked around for about 5 hours and didn't see it all. At the end, everything looked the same! The 30 degree weather didn't help things either! But let me tell you, it's massive. I would say there would have to be around 500 to 600 different vendors there probably more. That's my guestimate. Here are a few pics of the vendors. Nothing real special but something to post!!

Carrie is coming to visit tonight! Can't wait to see her. Its' been over a year now! She has an interview here tomorrow!!

Weekend again!

Whoohoo, weekend is here again! I get out of work at 3:30 today then we are on our way to Moncton! Spending the night with Julie then leaving tomorrow morning for the Giant Flea Market in Sussex! They are calling for 60% chance of rain in the afternoon, hopefully it won't at all! Even still, I'm going!! I won't melt!!

Nothing new on the homefront here, things have been fairly quiet. Last night we rented Failure to Lunch off the dish. It was a pretty good movie. Something along the lines of How to loose a guy in 10 days. It was pretty good though!!

Other than that, fairly quiet. Just wanted to write a quick note!

Surprise visit!

We got a surprise visit yesterday from Angie!!! Well she let me know earlier that day she was coming, but it was a suprise none the less! We had a nice night, sat back and chatted. She spent the night and today is headed to Dalhousie then off to Ontario. Then she's driving out West, just her and her puppy Scrappy! Her boyfriend is already out there. They are moving to Fort MacMurray. It was great to see her. I think we tried to figure it out and it had been almost 4 years since we last seen each other! Imagine!

So nothing new on our homefront. We're heading to the Giant Flea Market in Sussex on Saturday. I'm quite anxious for it! I haven't been there yet and I guess it's amazing! Maybe we'll get a few good deals! If I remember, I'm going to bring my camera and take a few pics.

Oh yeah, Happy birthday today to JULIE! and Happy Birthday on Friday to LESLIE!!!! :o)

What to do this weekend?!?

Well the weekend is here already! Whooohoo! Now the question is - what to do?!? Hmm, I've thought a bit about painting the bathroom. It need to be done and we have all the paint and supplies, it's just a matter of the weather cooperating so it can dry quick so we can still shower! I'll have to check the weathernetwork.com later to see what it's suppose to be like. I'm also debating on having a small yardsale tomorrow morning withWes' sister. We'll see. I'll think about it more and figure things out.

Other than that, not sure what I'll do. I'd like to get more knitting done. Going to knit a bunch of furry scarves and send them to my sister to sell in her shop. Might make a few dollars, why not?

That's about all I think, nothing major. Next weekend we are going to Sussex for the big flea market. I've always wanted to go but either something came up, had to work or something along those lines. I guess it's pretty crazy, tons of stuff there. They say you need a good day or more to go through everything! Imagine!! That's my kind of place, I love yardsaling.

Well I should be on my way for now. Will talk after the weekend is done!

Long weekend is over :o(

Well the long weekend is over.....wish it was still here!!

Friday night we didn't do too much - farted around and watched some TV..Actually I knit a bit too! Saturday packed a lunch, jumped in the car and drove for the day. We headed on the highway to Bathurst then took the old road up home. Visited with Kadence for a little then went to Campbellton for a few. We drove back and took the old road to Bathurst then highway to Miramichi. Sunday we slept in a bit, cleaned up some, knit, watched some TV. Staci stopped in for a few with her friend Nadine - they went tubbing. Carter and Brenda stopped in for about an hour as well. We watched the race then Staci came over after tubbing and we had supper. That night, we layed pretty low. Monday we went to visit Wes' mom, sister and nephew for a while. Last night we cleaned out the spare room closet then watched a little marathon of Dog the Bounty Hunter. I love that show, they are hilarious! Tonight is Dog and Beths' wedding! It's on at 10:00 on A&E. Should be good! Then we watched Gene Simmons - Family Jewels. Another messed up family! hhahahaha....

Anyway, here are a few pics of Kadence that I took - one of her on her new rocking horse and the other of her and Uncle Wessy. Then there is the pic of Nicki that I promised last week I think. It's Brenda and Carters new puppy.
